Mariupol Vocational Lyceum of Services and Trade

in cooperation with the Mariupol Vocational College Donetsk University of Economics and Trade named after Mykhailo Tugan-Baranovsky.

Mariupol Vocational Lyceum of Services and Trade is a state vocational education institution. The lyceum of the second certification level trains workers of 2, 3, 4 qualification levels from among graduates of general education institutions on the basis of basic or complete general secondary education, as well as training, retraining and advanced training of workers from among the unemployed population in the professions "Cook, confectioner" (code 5122, 7412), "Waiter, bartender" (code 5123, 5123), "Seller of food products, controller-cashier"(code 5220, 4211) on the basis of a license (unlimited), in accordance with the regional order and contracts with individuals.

The lyceum has a team of highly qualified employees:

44 people on the staff list, including 16 teachers (specialists of the highest and first category). The staff of the lyceum constantly improves and upgrades its qualifications, takes part in educational trainings and seminars in government agencies and organizations.

Our lyceum is a leader among vocational education institutions in Donetsk region in terms of trade and culinary profile. Every year, students of the lyceum participate in professional skills competitions and always win prizes. About 20 graduates are winners of regional and oblast professional skills competitions.

Mariupol Vocational Lyceum of Services and Trade has trained about 14 thousand young workers in catering, trade and services.

On November 16, 2019, our educational institution took part in the regional selection of the All-Ukrainian professional skills competition "WORLDSKILLS UKRAINE-2019" in the competence "Culinary Arts".

Mariupol Vocational Lyceum of Services and Trade was represented by the applicant for vocational education Mangusheva Oleksandra and won the honorable III place in this selection. We are participating in the Erasmus+ program for the first time and aim to open a Training Center to provide educational services and train skilled workers for the development of vocational education institutions in Donetsk region and the recovery of Ukraine's economy.

Representatives of our institution participated in the International Contact webinar: Supporting Ukraine in VET in November 2023, where we were introduced to a database of potential European partners. We are interested in finding partners and working together on programs aimed at sharing knowledge and best practices, as well as their application. We are interested in such partners and programs as Erasmus+, Erasmus+ Mobility Programs, Youth Exchanges, Training and Networking, Strategic Partnerships, Capacity Building.
